The idea of self-care is often seen as selfish, but women are more likely to suffer from mental health issues and physical ailments. Self-care can be a way for people to heal themselves rather than waiting for others to do it.
The woman take care of yourself quotes is a post that discusses the idea that women who take care of themselves are selfish.
You look after your loved ones and assist them with the minutiae of their life that they would otherwise overlook.
You’re a teacher, a helper, an adviser, and a caretaker all rolled into one.
But who looks after… you?
Your response will lead to one of two outcomes: a healthier, fitter, and less stressed you, or a permanent position on the yo-yo diet merry-go-round.

We’ve spent the past six months interviewing our PN Coaching for Women customers in person and on the phone.
We wanted to know why people selected the program over hiring a local personal trainer, joining a CrossFit club, or purchasing the newest diet book.
And the response was a bit of a shock.
Here’s what we discovered — and how it may help you feel better about your body and be healthier, happier, and less stressed.
Women: Never-say-die caretakers
The same tales kept coming up in our interviews, again and over.
Women look after their aging parents or handicapped relatives.
Over 60 million households are projected to be caring for an elderly or handicapped person at home, with women accounting for at least 85 percent of the carers.
While this kind of caring is costly in terms of both time and money, it also depletes women’s self-care and attention to their own needs.
Because 70% of these women are already coming late, leaving early, or skipping work days due to their obligations, it’s easy to understand how exercise and personal health would be the first things to go.
We heard this again and time again throughout our interviews.
A client had spent two years caring for her elderly father in one instance. She cherished every moment she had with him. However, it was only after he died that she understood the full toll those two years had had on her physical and mental health.
She joined up for PN Coaching the next week, not by chance.
Children are cared for by women.
Despite the fact that men are starting to assist more at home, it is believed that mothers spend twice as much time with their children than fathers. This involves caring for their children, educating them, and even transporting them to activities and appointments.
Of course, many mothers appreciate the additional time they have with their children. There are, however, just so many hours in a day. Exercising, preparing a nutritious meal, and thinking about self-care are all things that may be neglected.
(Many new mothers believe that even having a shower is too much for them to handle, much alone going to the gym.)
This was a recurring topic across all of our interviews.
One customer in particular sticks out in my mind: she was taking her kid to swim practice twice a day: in the morning at 4:30 a.m. and in the evening after school. She was also a full-time worker who looked for the rest of her family.
She was ecstatic with who her son had become and how she had aided him in his success.
But, after he obtained his driver’s license and no longer needed her undivided care, she discovered that years of putting everyone else first had left her heavier than she’d ever been. Her doctor had prescribed medicine because she was unwell.
Surprisingly, she was instructing with us within weeks.
Women look after their relationships and husbands.
Time may seem extremely short for women who work and attempt to maintain a home.
And the problem isn’t only with the housekeeping or food preparation. It’s all the time, effort, planning, and consideration that goes into working two jobs.
When one of our customers’ fiancée was suddenly relocated to another location, this became apparent. She remained behind briefly since she couldn’t quit her work right away.
When she was given some alone time to think, she realized how frequently other things, such as her relationship, had taken precedence over her own health.
She then joined PN Coaching shortly after.
Who is looking after you, women?
Throughout the hundreds of interviews, a recurring pattern emerged.
Women are very pleased of the amount of time and effort they put into caring for their families.
They are, however, quite tired.
They ignore themselves as a result of devoting so much of themselves to caring for others. Their personal well-being is jeopardized.
Exercise is no longer a priority, and good eating is no longer an option. They put on weight and lose muscle mass. They are rapidly aging and their health is deteriorating.
in this manner The top three lessons provided by our customers may make all the difference for you if you pay careful attention to them.
#1: In order to care for others, you must first take care of yourself.
“Put your own oxygen mask on first,” advises the airline safety film. You can’t look after people if you’re out of breath yourself.
Women are trained to put other people’s needs ahead of their own. And they may feel terrible about taking time for themselves until they’ve foreseen and pre-emptively stroked every itch on their loved ones’ backs.
As one of our customers put it:
“I used to believe it was unacceptable for me to be’selfish.’
“However, today I see things differently. Taking the time to go to the gym is not self-indulgent. It is not self-centered to be concerned about my own health. It’s self-love.”
She dropped weight by participating in PN Coaching. She felt and looked better. But, more unexpectedly, she improved as a mother:
“The program made me more emotionally, physically, and in every other way available to my children.
“I’m more confident in myself, and I’m more present for them.”
#2: You’re not alone yourself.
Clients are often shocked to learn that so many other ladies have similar experiences to their own during our interviews. They’d felt alone, as if they were the only ones who were tired (and, in some instances, despairing). As one customer put it,
“At first, I believed I was the only one who had ever felt this way.
“Now I know that isn’t the case, and that these emotions are much more frequent than I had thought. Particularly among women.
“However, I had no clue until I spoke up about my personal struggles.”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the following since then:
- “Everything was well until I had my second child. Since having her, I haven’t been able to get back into shape. I’m so ashamed, and I don’t know who to confide in.”
- “I never gave it a consideration until I reached menopause. Then I began to gain weight… I don’t look or feel the same as I did before. My buddies have no idea what I’m talking about. But this isn’t how I want to live.”
- I don’t have time for myself because of my children and elderly parents. I can’t work out because I’m too exhausted. It’s not right!”
Countless other ladies are going through the same thing you are. It’s perfectly natural. And we can assist you.
#3: Allow yourself to accept assistance.
The most kind and compassionate individuals often have the greatest trouble taking assistance and caring for themselves. And it’s for this reason that the weight and diet problems continue.
Most of our customers never consider asking for assistance. They believe it would imply that they aren’t “good enough” or competent. That they aren’t capable of doing anything on their own. One client kept convincing herself, “I’m going to die if I don’t
“I’m a loser if I can’t do it myself.”
But suddenly she noticed something:
“I would have done it on my own if I could.”
The power of letting go, of not needing to be flawless, became apparent to her.
“I understood that just taking the first few steps would suffice. I didn’t have to be flawless; all I needed to do was start.”
“That’s when PN really shined. They took care of all of my diet and fitness concerns. I was able to refocus and unwind. They gave me one less item to worry about instead of one more.”

I’d always had the impression that at we conducted things differently. But I wasn’t sure how to go about it.
